Introduction
The Department of Mechanical Engineering successfully organized an industrial visit on 03/12/2025 to Samruddhi Engineering, Bhosari, Pune, providing students with an opportunity to gain practical exposure to advanced metrology and modern manufacturing technologies. During the visit, students were introduced to a range of high-precision inspection and measurement systems, including:
- CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- VMM (Video Measuring Machine)
- 3D Scanning for Reverse Engineering
- Contour Measuring Machines
Industry experts conducted live demonstrations and explained the working principles, real-world applications, and significance of these technologies in quality control and advanced manufacturing.
Learning Outcomes:
