Spark Up Program: Future-Ready Workforce

The Department of Electrical Engineering, Zeal Polytechnic, Pune successfully conducted a 2-Day Advanced Technical Skill Development Workshop titled “Spark Up Program – Future-Ready Workforce by Enhancing Employability Skills aligned with Industry 4.0”, under Project INSPIRE (CSIR Initiative) on 2nd and 3rd February 2026.

This workshop was conducted in collaboration with the ITI Institute, under the ongoing Industry–Academia Skilling Initiatives supported by INSPIRE and ASSIST, with CSR support from Stellantis India (Jeep & Citroën India).

Workshop Objective

The program was organized with the objective of transforming students from technical learners into industry-ready professionals through structured hands-on learning, practical demonstrations, and real-world technical exposure. The workshop focused on developing employability-oriented skills aligned with the rapidly evolving requirements of the Industry 4.0 ecosystem.

Key Technical Domains Covered

The sessions were designed to provide advanced exposure in high-demand technologies, including:

  1. Electric Vehicles (EV)
  2. Robotics
  3. Industrial Automation
  4. Internet of Things (IoT)

Students gained valuable insights into emerging technologies, industry expectations, practical skill development, and future career opportunities.
