An industrial visit was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering under the ISHRAE Student Chapter for Mechanical Engineering students to Dynz Cooling Industries Pvt. Ltd. on 2 February 2026.
A total of 30+ students from the Mechanical Engineering branch actively participated in the visit. The objective of this visit was to provide students with practical exposure to industrial practices related to water cooling systems and refrigeration technology.
During the visit, students gained in-depth knowledge about the complete manufacturing process of water coolers, starting from raw material handling to final assembly. The industry experts explained various stages of cooling, working principles of water cooling systems, and the role of key components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion devices, and different types of refrigerants used in cooling applications.
Students were also introduced to different types of compressors, their applications, and performance characteristics. Special emphasis was given to refrigerant selection, safety measures, and environmental aspects related to refrigeration systems. Additionally, students visited the testing laboratory, where they observed quality testing procedures, performance evaluation, leak testing, and efficiency checks carried out before dispatching the final products.
The visit helped students bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical industrial applications, enhancing their understanding of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems in real-world scenarios.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering and ISHRAE Student Chapter sincerely express their gratitude to the Honourable Principal Sir and Head of the Department (Mechanical Engineering) for granting permission and encouraging such industry-oriented learning opportunities for students.
Overall, the visit was highly informative, interactive, and beneficial for the students’ academic and professional development
