Overview:
On January 24, 2025, India observed its inaugural National Drivers’ Day, a significant initiative to honor the vital contributions of drivers across the nation. Major transport and truckers’ associations, including the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU), declared this date as ‘Drivers’ Day’ to recognize drivers’ dedication and their essential role in the economy.
The Road Safety Club members at Zeal Polytechnic, Narhe, Pune, celebrated Driver’s Day: “A heartfelt thank you to all our drivers who safely transport us to our destinations every day. We say thank you!”
This gesture aimed to:
- Express Deep Gratitude: To show sincere appreciation for the drivers’ commitment to safely transporting people to their destinations each day.
