1. Welcome to All Students & Staff
The industrial visit commenced with a warm and enthusiastic welcome to the students and faculty members. Spanning from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, the visit was meticulously organized to ensure all 72 second-year students, along with their 3 faculty members, felt comfortable and were well-informed about the day’s schedule. Sumago Infotech Pvt. Ltd. staff facilitated the initial introductions and provided a detailed agenda for the day.
2. Introduction of Sumago Infotech Pvt. Ltd.
The session began with an insightful introduction to Sumago Infotech Pvt. Ltd., led by key representatives Sonali Adhav, Chief Executive Officer, and Sudhir Gorade, Chief Growth Officer. They outlined the company’s history, mission, and vision:
- Vision: “We aspire to be the global sourcing choice of the global market and revolutionize service processes. Our goal is to make IT a tool for both the ‘Masses’ and the ‘Classes’, creating innovative solutions and building relationships based on Trust, Values, and Professionalism.”
- Mission: “We aim to provide effective, affordable services that meet customer needs and budgets, offering customized websites and software solutions. We involve customers throughout the process, from design to deployment, to incorporate their ideas into our work.”
3. Technology Trends and Job Opportunities
The focus shifted to exploring current technology trends, including artificial intelligence, machine learning. The discussion highlighted how these trends are shaping the industry and the diverse job opportunities they create. Sumago Infotech specializes in various domains such as Web Development, Mobile Application, Digital Marketing, IT Consulting, IT Solutions, Project Management, Data Analytics, Resource Augmentation, Block chain, AI, Outsourcing Engagement, and IoT, showcasing the company’s extensive impact on the technology sector.
4. Q&A Session
Q&A session followed the presentations, providing students with the opportunity to engage directly with industry experts. This interactive segment addressed specific questions related to the topics discussed and broader career-related inquiries, offering valuable insights and enhancing the learning experience.
5. Felicitation of Staff
A brief felicitation ceremony honored the staff members who played a crucial role in organizing and facilitating the visit. Their dedication and efforts in ensuring a smooth and informative experience were formally acknowledged and appreciated.
6. Vote of Thanks
The visit concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Krushna Mane, a second-year student. Krushna extended heartfelt appreciation to the Sumago Infotech team for their valuable time and insightful presentations. She also thanked them for providing valuable information and dedicating their time to enrich the student’s learning experience.
Objective/Purpose:
The purpose of the industrial visit to Sumago Infotech Pvt. Ltd. was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. It aimed to expose second-year students to current technology trends, career opportunities in the tech industry, and real-world industry practices. The visit provided students with valuable insights and interactions with industry professionals, enriching their learning experience and aligning their academic knowledge with industry realities.
