Summary:

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning celebrated Marathi Divas on 27th February 2026 with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. The event aimed to honor the richness of Marathi language and literature while encouraging students to actively participate in various engaging activities.

On this occasion, a quiz competition was organized, including activities such as Guess the Proverbs and On-the-Spot Speech. These activities helped students showcase their knowledge, creativity, and speaking skills in Marathi.

Objective/Purpose:

1. To promote awareness and appreciation of the Marathi language and
2. To encourage students to participate in literary and cultural
3. To enhance students’ thinking, speaking, and communication
4. To create an interactive and engaging learning environment.

Outcomes:

1. Students enhanced their knowledge of Marathi language and
2. Participants developed confidence in public speaking and
3. The event encouraged cultural awareness and appreciation among students.  Active participation reflected students’ interest and enthusiasm.

Conclusion:

The Marathi Divas celebration was successfully conducted and achieved its objectives. The quiz competition and speech activities provided a platform for students to express themselves and connect with their cultural roots. The event was well-received by students and faculty, and it encouraged the organization of similar cultural activities in the future.
