Introduction:

The Electronics & Telecommunication Department celebrated National Youth Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and to inspire students with his ideals of confidence, character, and national development.

Objective/Purpose:

To encourage students to imbibe positive values, develop leadership qualities, and contribute meaningfully to society.

Execution:

The program began with a motivational speech competition, where students shared inspiring thoughts based on Swami Vivekananda’s teachings, focusing on youth empowerment, discipline, and self-belief. This was followed by a slogan competition, in which students creatively expressed messages related to youth strength, responsibility, and nation-building.

A poster competition was also organized, showcasing students’ artistic skills and their understanding of Swami Vivekananda’s vision for the youth. The posters reflected themes such as leadership, education, moral values, and service to society.

Outcomes:

Overall, the National Youth Day celebration was impactful and successful, motivating students to follow the path shown by Swami Vivekananda.
