On 8th March 2025, the International Women’s Day event was celebrated with great enthusiasm, bringing together first-year and second-year girls for a day filled with inspiration, celebration, and learning. The event featured a special guest, Police Constable Vaishali Nimgire, who has dedicated 10 years of service to the police department. Currently, she works in the Damini Pathak branch at the Singhgad Road station, a role she has held for the past year.
Constable Vaishali Nimgire shared valuable insights and experiences with the students, offering guidance and motivation. She spoke about the importance of empowerment, safety, and how to protect oneself, especially in the face of increasing crimes like rape. She emphasized the need for awareness, self-defense techniques, and personal safety measures. Constable Nimgire encouraged the girls to trust their instincts, remain vigilant, and seek help when necessary. Her advice aimed to empower them to feel confident and secure in their everyday lives.
