Introduction:

The  Department  of  Computer Engineering at  Zeal Polytechnic, Pune, proudly celebrated the birth anniversaries of  Rajmata Jijau and Swami Vivekanand on January 12, 2026. This dual celebration was organized to honor the legacy of two great Indian icons who symbolize strength, wisdom, and the power of youth. The event served as a medium to inspire students through historical and spiritual teachings.

Event Overview:

The event, titled “Youth Day Celebration,” was a grand success characterized by high student participation and creative talent. Activities were designed to align with the teachings of Swami Vivekanand and the grit of Rajmata Jijau. The program included a mix of traditional ceremonies, theatrical performances, and competitive intellectual events.

 Lamp Lighting Ceremony:

The program began with an auspicious start  through the traditional Lamp Lighting ceremony, symbolizing the removal of darkness and the spread of knowledge. The ceremony was performed by our respected faculty members:

About Various Competitions:

The  department  organized several competitions to engage students and promote the event’s themes:

Role Play: Sanskruti Pise (FYCO-D) delivered a powerful performance portraying the life and values of Rajmata Jijau.

Ganesh Vandana: A divine dance performance was presented by the students of FYCO-D  to seek blessings.

Speech Competition: Focused on the theme “From Sanskar to Strength,” where students shared insightful thoughts on character building.

Skit Competition: Impactful plays were performed by teams from FYCO-D and SYCO-C on the theme “Service to Man is Service to God.”

Artistic Competitions: Students also participated in Rangoli and Poster making competitions reflecting the spirit of the day.
