Summary:

Mr. Rohit Yaligar, a B.Sc. graduate and M.S.W. from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, is a Certified Cyber Fraud First Respondent. He has assisted 55+ cyber fraud victims, conducted 80+ awareness workshops, and collaborates with 35+ institutions and Cyber Cell Pune. He shared real-life cases and guided students on handling cyber fraud.Mr. Sanket Agashe, a B.Sc. and MBA graduate, is also a Certified Cyber Fraud First Respondent. He has helped 25+ cyber fraud victims and conducted 20+ workshops. He explained common cyber threats like phishing, OTP fraud, and social media hacking, along with safety measures.

Objective/Purpose:

  1. To create awareness about cyber security and cyber hygiene among students.
  2. To educate students about different types of cybercrimes and frauds.
  3. To provide guidance on preventive measures and safe online practices.
  4. To inform students about the proper steps to take in case of cyber fraud incidents.

Outcomes:

Students gained knowledge about common cyber threats and fraud techniques Participants learned preventive measures to protect personal and financial information online.Awareness was created about reporting cyber crimes to concerned authorities.Students developed a sense of responsibility towards safe and ethical use of digital platforms.
