1. Review of Semester

Prof. Megha Garud, and Prof. Savita Biradar, emphasized the overall academic performance of students with reference to internal assessments, unit tests, practical work, and attendance.

Faculty members highlighted students strengths in foundational subjects and practical understanding, while also identifying areas where improvement is required.

2. New Semester Academic Plan

The Head of the Department, Prof. Vijay Mohite, discussed the academic plan for the upcoming semester in detail with the parents. He provided a comprehensive overview of the semester’s academic structure, ensuring that parents clearly understood the expectations and academic roadmap designed for students.

Additionally, important academic deadlines for the semester were communicated to the parents. These included schedules for internal examinations, practical and laboratory assessments, as well as submission timelines for assignments and projects. Parents were advised to encourage students to adhere strictly to these deadlines to maintain academic discipline and avoid last-minute pressure.

3. Rules & Regulations

Prof. Savita Biradar, GFM Coordinator discussed important academic rules and institutional guidelines with the parents. The minimum attendance requirement as per institute and MSBTE norms was explained, and parents were informed that regular attendance is mandatory for eligibility in examinations.

The importance of carrying a valid college identity card within the campus at all times was emphasized. The prescribed dress code was explained to ensure discipline, uniformity, and a professional academic environment.

College timings, including reporting time and adherence to the daily schedule, were communicated clearly. Parents were informed about the mobile phone usage policy, stating that mobile phones

are strictly restricted during lectures, practical sessions, and examinations to maintain academic focus and discipline.

4. Placement & Career Development

During the Parent–Teacher Meeting, detailed discussion was carried out on Placement and Career Development activities by Training and Placement Coordinator

Prof. Poonam Chavan to make parents aware of the efforts taken by the institute for students professional growth.

Parents were informed about campus placement drives conducted by the institute in collaboration with reputed companies.

Guidance was given on resume preparation, emphasizing the need for a well-structured and professional resume.

The role of aptitude training was explained, covering areas such as quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and problem-solving skills.

Mock interviews are conducted to prepare students for real interview scenarios. These sessions help students improve communication skills, build confidence, and learn proper interview etiquette.

5. Role of Parents

Parents were advised to regularly monitor their wards study routine at home. The importance of regular college attendance was discussed, as it directly affects students academic performance. Parents were also asked to stay in touch with teachers regarding their wards progress,behavior and any other concerns.
