Event Summary:
The TECH-TORQUE 2025, a prestigious state-level technical competition, was successfully organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Zeal Polytechnic Pune, in association with the CAD/CAM/CAE Club. The event featured a CAD War Competition, where participants showcased their skills in Isometric and Orthographic Drawing.
A total of 12 competitors participated in the event, including students from Zeal Polytechnic Pune, Trinity Polytechnic Pune, M.M. Polytechnic Thergaon, and other institutions.
Inauguration Ceremony:
The event commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, graced by the presence of esteemed guests. The inauguration was conducted by Professor Prashant Jadhav, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Zeal Polytechnic, by lighting the lamp and performing a pooja of Lord Saraswati.

The inauguration took place in the CAD Lab of the Mechanical Engineering Department, marking the official beginning of the competition.
Competition and Evaluation:
Participants were judged based on their technical expertise, precision, and creativity in CAD drawing. After a thorough evaluation, three outstanding competitors were selected for the prize distribution ceremony.
The event was conducted under the guidance of CAD/CAM/CAE Coordinator Professor Sachin Suryvanshi. The judge for the event was Professor Shraddha S. Adewar ma’am from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Zeal College of Engineering and Research, Pune.
Evaluation Criteria:
The evaluation was based on the following aspects, each carrying 10 marks, making a total of 70 marks:

Dimensioning and Annotations
Layer Structure
Design Intent
Clarity and Readability
Compliance with Standards
Completion and Submission
Based on the scores assigned by the evaluator, the winners were determined as follows:

Conclusion:
TECH-TORQUE 2025 was a great success, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their technical proficiency in CAD designing. The event fostered competitive spirit, innovation, and learning among the participants. The Department of Mechanical Engineering extends heartfelt gratitude to all faculty members, student coordinators, participants, and guests for their contribution in making the event a grand success.
All participants were awarded participation certificates to recognize their efforts and enthusiasm in the competition.
