Summary / Report:
The orientation session on “Training and Placement” was organized to provide students with an overview of placement activities, recruitment procedures, and career opportunities. The session aimed to familiarize participants with the importance of training programs, skill development, and preparation strategies for campus recruitment.

Guided students on various aspects of placement readiness, including resume building, communication skills, technical preparation, aptitude tests, group discussions, and interview techniques

Real-world recruitment scenarios and company expectations were discussed to help students understand industry requirements. Emphasis was placed on the need for continuous skill enhancement, participation in internships, and professional certification courses to increase employability.

The orientation also highlighted the role of the T&P Cell in bridging the gap between students and industry by arranging training sessions, workshops, expert talks, and campus drives. Students were encouraged to actively participate in all placement-related activities and to maintain discipline and consistency throughout the preparation journey.

Objective / Purpose:

  1. To create awareness about the Training and Placement Cell activities
  2. To provide insights into the placement process and industry expectations
  3. To guide students in career preparation and skill development
  4. To motivate students for active participation in training programs and campus recruitment drives

Outcomes:

  1. Students understood the objectives and functions of the Training and Placement Cell
  2. Awareness of recruitment process and employer expectations was developed
  3. Students gained knowledge of skill enhancement areas such as communication, aptitude, and technical proficiency
  4. Motivation to participate actively in training programs and prepare systematically for campus placements
